Sharon Nkatha is a Peer Lead at Dada Devs and an emerging Bitcoin developer passionate about driving financial inclusion across Africa through open-source technology. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering at the Cooperative University of Kenya, she brings both academic grounding and hands-on technical experience to her work.

Sharon’s technical expertise spans JavaScript and the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).  She is certified by Dada Devs, Bitcoin Dada, and Africa Agility, programs that have equipped her with both software engineering and leadership skills in agile environments.

Beyond coding, Sharon has completed a Business Strategy program at Strathmore University, blending her technical skillset with strategic thinking, a combination that enables her to approach problem-solving with both innovation and practicality.
